You do understand Thunderboi. 🙂 I'd add that tricky part is when your other half is walking you through your own boundaries. And that's mutual, so even the sub part is showing a way, too. It's possible only with mutual respect and trust. Many, many deep layers of personality come out that you're not even aware of. That's what we call growth. When you meet the right person to be deeply mentally and physically intimate with, then you know what it means to be free and not being alone.
